Exchange to Change is a community-driven initiative in Houston, Texas, aimed at promoting positive social change by fostering black culture and businesses. Through open exchanges and community events, Exchange to Change seeked to bridge divides and create a more inclusive and empathetic community. Here I was able to provide community mental health services, food, and clothing to the homeless, and help with the daily upkeep of the building. From there, I was able to move upward into becoming one of the photographers for the brand, and eventually I became the media and brand advisor for the brand and their partnering vendors. Within this role I was able to execute marketing campaigns, media calendars, and brand packages.
